Second Nature School
Second Nature is proud to offer a neuro-affirming, child-centred, and therapeutically sound educational program that is grounded in attachment and rooted in nature. Based upon Second Nature practitioners' experiences with their own neurodiverse families, Second Nature provides a space for children ages 4 to 12 that is exploratory, inquiry-driven, and that meets children "where they are at". Founded by a registered educator and mental health professional, Second Nature School is overseen by psychotherapists, occupational therapists, behaviour interventionists, speech therapists, and educators who believe in the power of accepting children as they are in an effort to preserve their curiosity and love of learning.

At SNS, we offer a low-ratio, child-centred, and inclusive environment where each child receives individualized attention and is encouraged to explore their unique strengths. We blend educational philosophies to create a neurodiverse, inquiry-based curriculum that fosters curiosity and critical thinking. With a trauma-informed approach, we prioritize emotional safety, ensuring children feel secure, supported, and empowered to thrive.
NATURE
Second Nature School offers an inquiry-driven, exploratory space for children ages 4 to 12, meeting them "where they are." During this virtual meeting, you can expect to learn more about the school and share information about your child.
By the end of the session, you will know if your child is a good fit for our school, which has a 1:4 ratio, or if they may need additional support.
