About Us
Second Nature is a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and nature-connected mental health and education program rooted in relationship, co-regulation, and deep respect for the child.
We are looking for a Child & Family Psychotherapist to join our growing clinical team and offer compassionate, relationship-based therapy to neurodivergent children, youth, and their families in a space that feels more like home than a clinic.
What You'll Do

Provide individual and family psychotherapy using a neuro-affirming, attachment-based lens

Co-create therapeutic goals with families based on strengths and lived experiences

Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team (OT, SLP, educators, etc.)

Offer sessions indoors and in nature, including walk-and-talk or play-based approaches

Maintain client records in accordance with ethical and professional guidelines
Who You Are
-
A registered psychotherapist (RP), clinical social worker (RSW), or psychologist with experience supporting children
-
Experienced with neurodivergence, trauma, and relational approaches to care
-
Comfortable working in nature-based settings and flexible learning environments
-
Passionate about co-regulation, play, and building trust with children and families
-
Committed to anti-oppressive, inclusive, and client-led care
Bonus if you…

Have experience in DIR/Floortime, Synergetic Play Therapy, or somatic modalities
-
Are comfortable supporting families with high support needs or PDA profiles

Are open to co-facilitating group programs in the school or clinic setting

We are seeking a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with a gentle, intuitive approach to join our values-aligned team and provide body-based support to children, youth, and adults in a setting that prioritizes regulation, relationship, and rest.
What You'll Do

Offer trauma-informed massage therapy in a quiet, sensory-sensitive space

Support nervous system regulation, chronic tension, and emotional release

Work with a diverse caseload, including neurodivergent children and teens

Collaborate with a warm, interdisciplinary team (OTs, psychotherapists, SLPs, etc.)

Participate in community events or workshops (optional)
Who You Are

A Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in good standing

Experienced or interested in working with parents and families of children, youth, or neurodivergent clients

Open to working with children and youth

Calm, grounded, and attuned to non-verbal communication and sensory needs

Open to integrating bodywork into a wider healing plan
